My name is Patti Blake.
I'm the first female chief photographer in the 80 year history of The Panama City News Herald. I'm a certified sUAS drone pilot, a scuba diver and an avid night sky photographer.
I live and work in a place that was struck by a Category 5 hurricane in 2018. It's my job to tell the daily story of recovery in the Florida Panhandle after Hurricane Michael.
Visual storytelling is at the heart of everything I do because seeing is believing.
