Video Storytelling
Voices of the storm
Every Bay County, Fla. resident has a Hurricane Michael story. I shot and edited 72 video interviews to ask residents what their most vivid memory from the storm was and how their life was different one year after the hurricane. The videos were later pinned to a map for a visual representation of where each person lived before the hurricane. The map and story are available at https://www.newsherald.com/news/20191005/voices-of-storm-stories

Undead Love in Muncie
Abby Riggs and Thomas Ehmer shambled down the aisle to start the second annual Zombie Walk in Muncie to benefit charity on Sept. 14, 2013. A horde of participants donated canned goods for humans and animals. Proceeds went to the Animal Rescue Fund and Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana.
Parole agents from the Indiana Department of Corrections do regular residency checks with sex offenders on parole. Agents check that the offenders are truly living in the places that they have registered as their residence. The checks can take place at any time of the day or night and can be scheduled or unscheduled.
